Games Bahay Kubo

Bahay Kubo

A garden learning game built on the Filipino folk song: grow the vegetables, sing along, count, sort and play memory.

Plant, water and harvest all the vegetables from Bahay Kubo around a little nipa hut. Sing along to the traditional song with pictures, count the harvest into a bilao, sort vegetables by colour and size, and play memory pairs. Every vegetable is named in Filipino and English. Parents can record the lines, and even sing the song, in their own voice. No ads, and nothing leaves the device.

How to play

  1. Tap a seed and then a plot to plant. Water it and come back later to harvest.
  2. Tap the music note to sing along.
  3. Count the vegetables into the bilao, one tap at a time.
  4. Listen, then tap the vegetable you heard.
